Happy Easter, a Little Late

Our Easter was pretty typical here. We started off the morning at church and finished the day hunting easter eggs and stuffing ourselves with the most delicious food on earth. All in all, a great day.
What I enjoy most about Easter is that my kids know why we celebrate Easter. Not because we love hunting for candy filled eggs, but that Christ died for our sins and rose so that we could be in paradise with Him forever. One of my favorite moments of the day was after we were done eating. My brother in law broke out into song and we as a big family, sang songs together about the sacrifice of our Lord. It was a beautiful moment, but thanks for bearing with me!! (You really had to be there)
