Bike-A-Thon and Mommy's Little Princess?

Katie's school had their annual bike-a-thon this week and it was pretty fun. We had some good laughs and there were a lot of cute kids on bikes. Even I did a lap around the course!

This week Katie's friend Erin came over to play. As you can see, she and Sammy had a chance to play together as well. Here's what they did....

The Pool is Open!

On Mother's Day the kids decided it was time to take the first official dip in the pool. They were slightly chilly, but they all had a blast!

Katie's First Apple Pie

Katie decided in honor of Grandma and Grandpa coming home from Russia today, she was going to make an apple pie all by herself. This all started at Benedito's Saturday night when she fashioned a "pie crust" from her yummy yet slightly undercooked bread stick. She actually did a pretty good job for a 5 year old. I'll let you be the judge!!
